Hey, Folks!
I’ve gotten a lot of questions lately from people asking if we’ll be doing any events outside of Ohio. As some of you may know, I’ve been dealing with a lot of health issues the last few years, one of them being degenerative disc disease. Since November I’ve had to deal with physical therapy, 3 MRIs, 2 epidurals, and 1 injection in my sacroiliac joint (the epidurals and injections are done without anesthesia or numbing agents). I’m currently juggling ongoing treatment and appointments to get the pain manageable enough to be pain free while preforming everyday tasks, like laundry or something as simple as putting on my shoes. One of the tasks is driving (I can’t lift my right arm without nerve pain in my shoulder blade) and riding in a car for more than three hours without feeling like my hips and spine are in a vise. I believe I’m working with a great orthopedic doctor, but treatments take time and a lot of money. Money that could be spent on travel, vendor tables, and hotels. So, unfortunately, until things improve, Grindhouse Press will continue to stick closer to home. I’m hopeful that I’ll get relief not too far into the future. Thank you for your support and understanding.
